The UltraTec™ coating system by Phoenix Fabricators & Erectors is a purpose-built solution for long-term corrosion protection and durability in municipal and industrial tank applications. UltraTec combines a high-solids, immersion-grade phenalkamine epoxy applied to both the interior and exterior tank surfaces, with a polyurethane topcoat on the exterior to provide enhanced UV resistance and long-term color and gloss retention.
This integrated coating system is engineered to protect steel substrates exposed to demanding service conditions, delivering excellent adhesion, chemical resistance, and long-term performance. UltraTec is NSF International certified in accordance with NSF/ANSI/CAN Standard 61 and 600, making it suitable for potable water applications, and complies with applicable AWWA standards.
The result is a robust, multi-layer coating system designed to extend service life, reduce maintenance, and provide reliable corrosion protection in aggressive environments.
