PAMPLICO, S.C. – Construction on a new water tank for the Town of Pamplico is scheduled to be built on Hyman Road within the year town officials said at Monday’s town council meeting.
Mayor Gene Gainey announced that Phoenix Fabricators and Erectors will be awarded the contract to build a single pedestal 200,000 gallon tank for $948,400, which is slightly more expensive than another tank style, but more economical in the long run.
